Mill Valley is just a few
miles north of Sausalito and is a great central place to stay if you
want to sample all the goodies of the North Bay / Marin County
area. It's close to fabulous restaurants, the Bay Model,
Sausalito, Tiburon, Mt. Tam and the John Muir Woods, as well as a
great jumping off place for San Francisco to the south and the
northern coast of California. Plus you're just a few minutes
from the Larkspur Ferry which will take you on a ride across the Bay
to San Francisco. It's also just 30 minutes south of the Wine
Country. Plus, the rates here are very affordable - so you can
do more on less.

Novato is at the north end of Marin County, just a few miles south of
Sonoma County and the world-class wineries the California Wine
Country is famous for. It's an ideal place to stay if you're
doing lots of activities in the Wine Country and in Marin County, so
you'll still be central to everything you want to do without lots of
driving. It's also just a few miles away from Marine World in
Vallejo (to the east). |
